Lesley Fisher has been hired as the deputy secretary of the academic staff. Fisher replaces Jake Smith, who started his new role as secretary of the academic staff in May.
For the past several years, Lesley has worked in nonprofit operations management roles. She’s looking forward to working in a university environment and supporting the important work of academic staff governance. Lesley attended UW-Madison as an undergraduate and is excited to return to campus!
