Academic Staff Chats

An academic staff chat is a frank, open discussion with a small group of your colleagues on a particular topic. The series runs during the academic year and includes four different topics. The first series of chats were held in 2015-16. Some topics may include a speaker or panel prior to ample discussion time. All sessions are free of charge.

Numbers are often very limited to ensure a fruitful small group discussion.

2020 - 2021 Academic Year

All sessions meet from 11:45am – 1:00pm via Zoom. Registration for each session will open approximately 3 weeks prior to the date of the event.  Watch your email for announcements on when to register.

The Academic Staff Chats are sponsored by the Vice Provost for Faculty and Staff Affairs, The Academic Staff Executive Committee, and the Office of the Secretary of the Academic Staff.
