| Responsibilities |
| The continuing review of personnel policies and procedures relating to the academic staff and making recommendations to the Assembly and ASEC for same. Largely responsible for recommending updates and changes to the "Academic Staff Policies and Procedures" document. |
| Membership |
| Nine members elected by the Assembly. Three are elected each year to serve three-year terms. There are no term limits. |
| ASEC Liaison |
| The committee liaison to ASEC is the chair of the committee. The chair usually attends all ASEC meetings. |
