I. Approval of the Agenda. Done.
II. Approval of the Minutes for March 5, 2003. Done.
III. Announcements
ASEC supported our CEBC classified staff contract support statement.
Colleen McCabe requested that CEBC only report on CEBC monthly meetings
at the first ASEC meeting of each month.
Announce layoff procedures to all Academic members via email through
Apr 3 ASEC.

VI. Old Business
A. Academic Staff equity study - Pavelko/Achtor
Handed out previous study, discussion followed.
A new Category A study would be difficult.
A new Category B study is easier.
Compression is the main problem - new hires getting salaries close to
or above current employees.
We will start the ball rolling...
VII. New Business - Gall
Discussion about Merit allocation and performance review. How it
happens and why - perspectives from different departments.
