CEBC Meeting Minutes
12/1/99
Present: Walt Hopkins, Reggie Gauger, Bob Paulos, Janice Czyscon, Larry Davis, Jo Ann Carr, Ronnie Carda
Minutes from the 11/3/99 meeting were accepted as distributed.
Walt noted that he had contacted Bill Kelly who expressed interest in resigning. Walt will talk to ASEC about Bill's replacement.
Walt forwarded Nellie's and Jo Ann's names to the System Fringe Benefits Committee.
Walt will check with ASEC about the status of donating vacation days and personal holidays to colleagues, like classified staff does.
Walt will set up a meeting with the Faculty Compensation Committee.
Walt or Ronnie will go to the ASEC meeting on 12/16/99 if there is one.
Jo Ann will send copies of Dave Stella's handouts from a meeting she and Reggie attended.
At the 12/2/99 ASEC meeting, Larry will instruct ASEC that CEBC wants ASEC and ASPRO to support the two pro-domestic partner bills and oppose any anti-domestic partner bills that are introduced during the next legislative session in January.
The committees on Academic Staff Issues in the various schools and colleges are good places to examine merit and performance review procedures. CEBC will continue discussion of this issue.
